As a good nerd I bought my pulse oximeter in early days, but I (a) know that I've had poor measured blood oxygenation since at least my mid-20s, (b) have no idea how bad that actually is, either under the threat of COVID or generally & (c) have no idea how to interpret my #'s now
When I became aware of the issue it was "who knows?" I'm a former smoker. Normal weight. No known chronic illnesses. Struggle with cardiovascular exercise, which is probably to be expected. Nobody was going to order any additional tests then and I'm *certain* they won't now

You’re may be right about additional tests. But a call with a doctor might offer you new information in the context of Covid-19. My (uninformed) suspicion is that someone with lower baseline sats would be at higher risk. (But I’m not a doctor so I’m not giving advice.)
