In reality the aforementioned nerds are quite capable of figuring out a relatively nearby county where coronavirus permeation is low and moving there for a couple of months if the local situation worsens

Unless you've already got the goods frozen and are planning on surrogacy, there really is something to be said for not delaying another few years after age 30 or so — would be interesting to run the analysis, but depending on local COVID interventions it may be safer now
