congratulations; they're stupid across multiple dimensions — I recommend trying to meet more people who understand the disutility of a cart when all the horses have long fled.

I guess I’m stupid across multiple dimensions then. I’m not an expert so I could be wrong. But I think tax revenue in the past does effect spending in the future. Current and future presidents could be influenced on how much funding the pandemic team gets.
