Totally fair! I think that reporting was irresponsible as well. Ideally the forensic process of tracing it back to the source would be sober, methodical and unaffected by outside bias but our media isn't great at sober and methodical.

To be brutally honest, it's possible we may never know the true source. Especially considering China won't allow outside scientists the freedom to investigate.

At this point I think it's more likely than the wet market hypothesis. It's a seafood market and there is no evidence that bats or pangolins were being sold there.
