Esports is as legit a profession as being a pro athlete. And if your kid thinks he can play for the yankees, your job is to make sure they have a backup plan.

I've always been torn on video games and screens in general. VGs spurred my interest in computers, and I've been building them since I was 13. On the other hand I almost failed out of college because I couldn't regulate my gaming.
