There is a process for holding the government accountable, largely mediated by the narrative-making institutions. The techlash is lazy. Most of the jabs at Trump are also lazy, and crumble on inspection. Get ready for another 4 years of the current admin.
The very idea that tech was ever responsible for public health communications is absurd, but an easy conclusion when they're consistently outperforming the people whose job that actually is. Consider that that may be why they point their frustration at the communication apparatus
