There are still people who are annoyed that VCs spend billions of dollars building out nation-or-larger-scale food delivery networks. ... Those seem like a pretty useful thing to have right now, all things considered. Shouldn’t we regret we didn’t spend a lot more, faster?

I'm annoyed that the government doesn't step in and subsidize those services. Food delivery is essential and neccesary to reduce spread in the times of COVID. Last mile delivery should ultimately be a public utility.

Mixed feelings on this one. Completely agree with making food availability closer to a utility. But last mile fulfilment goes far beyond food and should move towards robotics. There's a lot of (good) business opportunity around last mile that we should incentivize.
