I mean, I assume they're not evil enough to be *thanking* people. That would practically be an admission that Vox thinks it wise to reward their own wealthy donors while publicly criticizing those donating to supply PPE to doctors or fund COVID research instead.

There's really only one way for Vox to handle this. If you're rich and you make any sort of substantial donation to Vox, Teddy Schleifer spends a few hours harassing your contacts and then writes a piece about how Vox shouldn't need your charity to pay his salary.

@webdevMason and the Silicon Valley cool kids would rather wrestle in the dirt with hacks than discuss underlying issues like the tech-enabled destruction of legacy journalism and income inequality. They deserve each other.
