Damn it. OK. Did you buy a gun because of the coronavirus?

This is a good time to point out that there are many women-led/women-only gun safety and training classes that are a safe and comfortable place to learn the basics of gun safety and use. A web search or a call to local shooting ranges will usually turn some up.

Personally my preference would be that every gun owner seek out training first. BUT, that isn't always feasible due to threats or a changing environment like we see today. Use your judgement, be as safe as you can be, but don't be afraid to exercise your rights.

I borrowed a mossberg from my brother. I know how to shoot, taken a lot of classes and own a small pistol for conceal carry. But for this time...I wanted a rifle or a shotgun. As my brother said, better to not need it and have it, than need it and not have it.

Awesome. Congrats :)

If you want to learn how to operate firearms and safe use then I will take you. No problem. This is how gun safety is taught in reality, not by government. I learned from family as a kid and Ive taught many friends as an adult. Sorry for your losses.
