We've been living with alarm over COVID & an unprecedented takeover of media by 1 topic for several long weeks, so most of us feel over-saturated with information. Now is a good time to remember that we're still **extremely** early in our understanding of the virus and disease

I think it's a good idea to keep it private while you're working on it. And it doesn't have to be a binary decision: you can share only the parts that are less contentious / personally risky, and keep the rest private (or share just with close friends).

There are benefits to sharing: many eyeballs make bugs shallow, etc. There are also costs. Sharing with only close friends may be the best trade-off for you personally: you get contrictive feedback and input, but don't expose yourself to all the trolls and bad actors of the world
