Totally agree. The notion that people would believe "masks don't work; also, we must save them for health care workers" is ludicrous. It speaks to the stupidity of WHO and CDC that they imagined that could be effective.

Agree. OTOH, as of last Sunday, about half of the replies I got to my Facebook posts on face masks (from Western Europeans friends) are along the lines of "masks don't work" & "listen to the WHO" Twitter is in full revolt against the WHO, but I wonder about the general sentiment
