That was the shot, "you're statistically too stupid to properly strap a cloth over your face hole" was the chaser

Because there is a shortage of masks, some officials are fibbing in order to make sure masks are available for healthcare workers instead of sitting in the homes of people who don't need them, because they are social distancing. Should we be undermining this?

When will trust them to tell the truth when we need to believe them?

User error in literally all of this — the gearing up, the hand-washing, the 6-foot gap, all of it. Masks were always going to be much more effective if everyone wore them, placing two barriers between infected and uninfected. Instead, noone does. *That* is stupid.

This is a misconception If you spend all day within 6 feet of infected people masks are very effective. But you also need to combine them with biohazard suits and face shields. Use of a mask without the other protective measures in casual contact like shopping is not the same.

If everyone is wearing a mask, you have *two* highly effective layers between every infected respiratory droplet and each potential new host. There are other ways get this and other precautions to take, but this is an incredibly good one.

You will not believe the number of 'smart' people who have fallen for this and propagated it to their mostly mindless followers.

I don’t need a $1200 government check right now. I need a N95 mask. Where is the PPE? Government should be sending us all masks, goggles, even ear plugs.
