my single greatest concern (since the beginning) is that the numbers out of china vastly misled people -- not because of their purported accuracy, but because they trended towards "what happens if everyone gets chloroquine-on-diagnosis, antivirals, and early ventilation"

by early March we had people pointing out that this seemed be either a 0.6-1% CFR or 3-5+% CFR illness depending on whether or not hospitals were able to provide treatment in every case where it was indicated Somehow this was an extremely difficult concept
