Trump hyping specific drugs like chloroquine is irresponsible for a number of reasons, but (a) chloroquine *has* shown enough promise to be the go-to compassionate use drug for COVID & (b) I don't really think it's his fault if someone starts serving themselves aquarium chemicals
Calling it aquarium chemicals really distorts what it is. Why is it used in aquariums? Because it kills parasites... like malaria. With public health, what people *should* do doesn’t matter at all. All that matters is what they *will* do and this was perfectly predictable.
