Well, chloroquine phosphate is in fact an anti-malaria drug. We’ve just switched to using hydroxychloroquine a long time ago cause it’s much safer. Point being, Trump said anti-malaria pill so if they would’ve looked up what they had, it would’ve come up as an anti-malaria pill.

It seems unlikely that a doctor would prescribe chloroquine and be unable to convince a patient this situation was caused by an overdose. However, it may discourage a patient from taking more than the recommended dosage, which is probably good.
