<40 would poss a serious issue, since the US Const requires age 35 and older. Not a lot of ppl exactly between 35 and 40. Maybe just <65, ordinary retirement age. The US Military has a mandatory retirement age of 75.

People >50 appear to be at much higher risk than previously inferred by the data. Probably has everything to do with preexisting comorbidities, but most people have one or two of those by middle age
