I don't actually believe the grocery stores will run out of food, but I absolutely believe the bay area may be too short-sighted to implement enforced distancing *at the store* and I do not want to be there

Same reason I was stocking up: the fewer trips I have to make in the crisis period, the less chance of me getting (or giving!) this thing. If I don’t have to go shopping for the next 2-3 weeks, more’s the better.
