@webdevMason called it when she said journalists would be able to switch narratives on this thing with no accountability. It’s been unsettling to watch that play out.
To be fair, I *hope* they don't get called out once they start to adjust. But I hope there's some degree of corrective pressure in real time to force that process & a long-term reckoning in ~2 years
It's really tough to see them calling out Donnie for the exact same things, and I don't know how quickly that needs to be addressed. An acknowledgement, from them, of them getting it wrong could go a long way toward building their credibility again.
