This is a *superb* time for people to begin preparing as though an alarm has been pulled, because there's still time for stores to restock and everyone to get most of what they need. The key to not being party to a run on basic supplies that hurts late-comers is to be ready now.https://twitter.com/jonst0kes/status/1234295823535673345 …

Hi Mason! I made http://coronachecklist.org to help people: 1. be and feel more prepared and 2. find the things they need. Prepping is time-consuming and hard. COVID-19 is scary. This could help lower activation energy for people to take agency of their own health. Thoughts?

Hahaha. This is great capitalism. Really enjoyed the toothpaste and toilet paper recommendations

Gotta make sure to get those Amazon affiliate payments...

For what it's worth, I made my own list recently sans Amazon links and made it widely available... but I don't think there's anything wrong with profiting when people buy stuff that's actually helpful. Some of this is a bit of a stretch, but it's largely useful.

I’m a fan of capitalism, just pointing out that the list is focused on stuffing as many high affiliate commission amazon products as possible, not necessarily what is best / essential

It's a really convenient checklist that has a great deal in common with my personal list, which I think is sufficient but a lot less pretty/shareable: https://twitter.com/webdevmason/status/1234175207234912256?s=21 … If someone makes some money on it, great! More important to make sure they recommend products that work.
