Rather than making more masks shouldn’t we be making more tests? We’re lacking visibility into the problem.

Both tests and masks are important tools in stifling the spread of this pandemic.

Are those criteria reasonable? Shortness of breath or chest pain? I don't know enough about it to say.

I've seen "(fever and (cough or shortness of breath))" listed as other official criteria so it sounds like it would have been reasonable to test him. NYC didn't have any working tests, though. That changed a few days ago. The bar to calling national CDC was probably high.

I’m in the same boat I have had a fever for days and chest pain when breathing. I work from home but I was in WA state 2 weeks ago to see family that just came back from Thailand. One is sick. WA is having an outbreak and I was just there, now with flu symptoms but not flu.

This does not surprise me in the least. It’s become clear that whether on purpose or not, the US has managed to cover up dozens, if not hundreds of
#coronavirus cases with it’S unwillingness to test people who didnt meet the right criteria. They have blood on their hands.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
