Cyan, your argument will always be very hard for someone to relate to if they've never once in their adult lives cried over needing $20 they could not conceive any way of getting without crossing lines they'd never thought they could cross.

Uber drivers are in all sorts of different circumstances, but there's a substantial group that *really* struggles to meet immediate needs & just desperately needs a fast financial foothold. Also many that need long-term flexibility to stay above water. Both will be screwed.
