It seems mortality rate calculation would be really hard with something like this. Impossible to determine the denominator accurately

The Diamond Princess cruise ship provides a useful estimate, since everyone onboard was tested and quarantined -- so far that's at six deaths out of 700 infections (0.9% mortality).
