Complaints about COVID-19 graphs/metrics
We should apply what we’ve learned about growth metrics to these COVID-19 charts.
No more cumulative global charts, please. not helpful.
We need daily/weekly deltas for new vs current infections, split by city/region, with funnels

The only way to know if it’s contained is: - are older cities/cohorts slowing down? - how fast are new cities being added? - what does the “funnel” for tested -> infected -> death rates look like, and is it changing? - how do metrics like R0 compare, city by city?

Right now the news is publishing exponential growth curves of cumulative deaths and infections and such, which is clickbait and not real analysis If anyone’s seen better, more granular analysis, I’d love to see it. Reply here!
