This cannot be a catastrophic pandemic because that sort of thing is very olden-times, and bad things never happen under new circumstances

Seriously though, going after Bill Gates for saying "maybe don't take ALL of my money though" makes a lot more sense if, in some fundamental visceral sense, you simply do not believe that infectious disease is a current day sort of thing
