COVID-19 aside, staying home and/or wearing a mask in public when you're sick should absolutely be an expected norm Getting sick makes anyone miserable. It's very scary for people with compromised immune systems or babies/elderly who rely on them. We should all do our part, here

I agree. But I do wonder how many people there are who can't afford to stay at home for too long.
Government agencies, employers, family members and friends should certainly be under some pressure to help relieve the burden on the sick, within reason Every person who can't afford to stay home was themselves infected by someone else who may have thought the same
