Want a story to write? Here's one: how is it that this city consistently elects the most progressive politicians in the country, managing an absolutely massive budget, and yet the cost of housing, quality of transit & conditions on the street are all borderline intolerable?
I don't know, I think it might be sort of nifty if we actually held the people we elect to make progress on these issues accountable for doing that, rather than blaming employers for... what? Hiring people? Helping them get to work?

And guess what: if you smash windows or slash a vehicle's tires, especially while it's occupied and in operation, you should go to jail. In case you missed that day in class, you don't get to commit crimes or put people in danger because you don't like the victims.
We can't have private citizens outperforming the socialist political establishment. It upsets the entire balance of power. Time to get those pigs back on the filthy, dangerous public transportation with the rest of the peasants and revert their neighborhoods to ghettos.
