To be fair, the people who think climate change will cause human extinction in < 10 years generally overlap with those who think the rich are inherently immoral. Add to this the presupposition that actions can’t be seperated from actors and It’s quite the logical conundrum.
I don’t think many people are mad that Bezos is donating money to address climate change; they’re bothered that governments have been so useless that society is relying on billionaires to step in, & that one guy can accrue soo much power and deploy it however, whenever, on a whim
