More importantly, the pursuit can be noble without imbuing nobility on each and every person who joins in for their own reasons
Sure. I don't think that's what he's saying? He sees all of these people as devoted public servants who are genuinely doing their best for their country. The sheer brazenness and cruelty of Trump's personality is pretty unique, such that he really does seem abhorrent.
