When I was hanging out with kids last year, I brought a plotter (drawing robot) into the school and let them "print" whatever they wanted. Did 6 or 7 runs, and the Tesla in space was one of them. This was a captivating moment for kids who like space, lest cynical adults forget
To me the coolest part was that they back-timed the “Major Tom” track so that the big break in the song precisely matched the moment they blew the faring bolts, illuminating the Tesla in blinding light on cue. Showmanship!
