He still should show up, but his reluctance is for different reasons than not giving in to "the bad guys". Is there something I'm missing?
Implying to the press that you'd ignore a subpoena is moronic, especially when it pertains to a process initiated by your own party to impeach someone who pulls the same stunts. It no longer looks like the Democrats are the party for process, but just another set of rodeo clowns.

I think his first tweet was saying that unlike Trump, he's not going to ignore the subpoena, so that when he criticizes it as a diversion tactic, people don't call him out for hypocrisy.
