I don't really know why the Verge is trying *so* hard to kill Away (and get the credit for it) — maybe taking down a business really is the way to get street cred in the industry now? But "retail employees in NYC reported seeing a mouse" just ain't it

For once, I have nary a horse in this race — I don't know anyone involved with Away or the Verge, don't consider Away tech or even tech-adjacent, and my overpriced luggage of choice is Delsey — which makes it even easier for me to fully enjoy how incredibly stupid this is

Not sure where you’re getting that the investigation concluded it was a “safe working environment.” The Slack message just says no violation of OSHA limits. If employees were wearing company provided gas masks and throwing up in the bathroom, it probably was a legitimate issue.
