The problem with hitting someone in the eyes/nose/throat is you have to get your hands there to be able to land the hit, and that means you need to know technique
Great, but learn a technique that focuses on hitting the soft tissues dirty, not the arm-to-arm stuff that looks good on TV.

Again, the process (against someone resisting your efforts) for clawing someone in the eye and punching someone in the face is 95% the same. The problem is the getting there, not the aiming.
