I feel obligated to admit that this was *hysterical* to me as I wrote it, and only looking at it now do I realize that "lots of shops here sell sandwiches" is not... a joke? I really do not know where I saw a punchline there. Send help

Confession: is a definite noticeable moment of confusion when I hear a British child speak with a British accent. I don't know what that's about. Maybe I think all humans are born American, and a few just lapse into Britishness

Rooms in London are expensive so I booked something more like a... sleeping hole type situation. I have mixed feelings about Past Mason's decision-making abilitypic.twitter.com/hyqAn3DGU7

Oh man, it is an awkward evening to be an American running around London. Just had someone shout "go home, you bastard!" at me, probably because I was wearing a hoodie with the name of a major American city printed on it...?

fwiw Londoners are generally lovely. Earlier today I stepped aside with my luggage ahead of a tall flight of stairs (to check that I was headed toward the right line) & within 90 seconds a fellow passenger stopped to ask if I'd like him to carry my bags up https://twitter.com/ed_pointsman/status/1205285251141922816 …

Londoners are lovely in many ways. But pretty sure we help each other with bags because it’s the law to move very fast in tube stations. We’d literally rather carry your bags for you than be delayed by 1 second.

I'm sure this is true, but this was a very broad area at Paddington and I was definitely not obstructing anyone in either direction :)
