Dude! I studied these guys in the wild, and briefly did captive work on them, too (brought some through U.S. customs in frog condos...). I recommend shot glasses as faux-bromeliads. And if your roommates give you grief, assure them that captive frogs aren't poisonous (it's true).

Definitely going to try to cultivate appropriate plant life but very, very keen on your insights re: making the habitats work when I inevitably kill almost everything

One of the species I ordered (Ameerega bassleri) is apparently a bit tricky to breed in captivity and also near-threatened in the wild due to habitat loss, and I *really* want to make babies happen
