I certainly agree! And I'm not certain there wasn't shenanigans in setting this up. I just find the fracture easily explained by panicked guards.

I'm factoring in the guards having apparently been asleep, the immediate panic when they realized just WHO they had let hang. I could be wrong and maybe they train 'dehanging' drills but I imagine a good bit of adrenaline hit the guards and they grabbed him and pulled awkwardly
