Advantages over a private twitter account: I can choose the character limit, play with threading & treat threads like docs (e.g. name them, put them in the sidebar), allow editing(!), add my own features as needed. And of course, not risk accidentally posting to the wrong account

this is an example of creating a research thread, but you can just write arbitrary text/image threads into it. also integrates with twitter so you can broadcast your threads (w/ edit button!) to twitter when ready.
