When the author intermittently breaks from ranting about the Kochs to offer a few words about licensing, the only point he can think to hammer is that licensed workers make more money. Which, yes, can happen when you make it illegal for other people to compete with you for work.
Whether it's Koch or Soros:
If donations to a policy group are "corrupting" what they publish, then it shouldn't be hard to point out actual *mistakes in the papers* the group puts out.
Partisans always think a financial motive is behind the existence of other views 
"Open borders is a koch brothers proposal!" Is my favorite. Let's build boarder security and not allow one of the easiest ways to make some of the poorest lives better because the Koch's like it.
tbf, re:ssc post in other thread I really like many projects koch foundation working on right now, including this. But also not exactly shocked many have default skepticism on projects funded by koch. It's good null hypothesis given commons they've burned
