There’s value in not being the first to market in tech, especially if that’s not your USP. Waiting for it to mature means you miss the headaches, hidden costs, and delays from early (and often unnecessary) adoption
All of that is predicated on ZERO FAILURES of the value-store system, despite failure of that particular system being the holy grail of the absolute best profit-seeking black hats. It makes sense to focus on bringing that in-house to strengthen it. Less so to cut costs.
