I’d agree that they’re likely not as agile in terms of new trends/technology adoption, the question is whether that’s an intrinsically bad thing. I for one don’t join a bank because they’re running serverless

All of that is predicated on ZERO FAILURES of the value-store system, despite failure of that particular system being the holy grail of the absolute best profit-seeking black hats. It makes sense to focus on bringing that in-house to strengthen it. Less so to cut costs.
