The famous trick is to break out of the game and convince them you’ll give em half the money after the show if they split and you steal, right? And then split anyway just in case you misread them, because them winning is better than The Man winning

Rational decision is to always steal, because in both scenarios that is a better outcome for you. But most people, if guaranteed the other person will split, will usually split. Homo sapiens are more compassionate than homo economicus
