So the people that prospered the most in the US economic system should pay the same rate as a homeless person? Doesn't seem right to me. And I disagree with you. If you want to talk about elections, that's a whole different ball game.

IMHO, Economic disparity is like lightning. When the charges (gap between the haves and have nots) grow too much, we get a lightning strike. When wealth continuously petrifies at the top, we are storing charges. When those charges get large enough, there are problems.

Basically, I want a system where – people seeking employment are able to skill up efficiently, move freely, and raise families – employers have access to a highly competent & diverse labor force – people who genuinely cannot work are still able to survive & find meaning
