Sorry, I'm not a fan of the "Vote for me! I'll give you other people's money!" mentality. I have no desire to confiscate half of Bill Gates' wealth or anyone else's.

So the people that prospered the most in the US economic system should pay the same rate as a homeless person? Doesn't seem right to me. And I disagree with you. If you want to talk about elections, that's a whole different ball game.

Check out the 10 times as much versus a comparison of the actual percentages of tax rate. Yep. Until you reveal your catch all tax plan, if you make more you should pay more (percentage wise). A flat tax is regressive--something tells me you know that.

There are legitimate disagreements and discussions to be had about what the government should be in the business of doing and how best to spread the tax burden to pay for it But it's a very bad sign when we're considering taxation **with the intent to reduce citizens' wealth**

Taxation reduces everyone's wealth. Only lately the system is rigged against the middle class now.
