SF's regulatory model for housing is working so superbly that it only makes sense to apply it to tech. Love the idea of city officials and the least-busy contingent of the local boomer population collaborating to decide which tech solutions are permitted in public

I'm pretty freaked out by how many VCs & VC-funded founders are beginning to take it as a given that SF's nonviable in the long run for what they're doing. The shift is happening *very* rapidly. And SF governance is still bloating rather than trimming fat. This does not bode well
