Support for nuclear energy is pretty close to a must-have for me; I genuinely don't see an immediate path toward a massive + sustainable reduction in emissions without it. Education is obv another big one; Booker's ideas are strong & Yang *really* impressed me on the podcast

Yeah, me too. I think the debates are actively favoring tactics that play against good argumentation, and Yang certainly comes across much better in a friendly hour-long conversation than he does when limited to offensive/defensive sound bites

Wind+solar+storage+demand response is cheaper and getting cheaper every year. A mix of these technologies is cheaper than coal and is threatening new gas plants. We shouldn't shut down nuclear plans and should continue research investment but other options look more promising now. We should be spending that political capital on improving energy markets, transmission, and Electrification infrastructure.
