This all sounds really clinical, but love itself is *necessarily* the kind of commitment I'm talking about. It's a word that's thrown around a lot, but I don't think there's any reasonable usage for "love" that doesn't imply a high-risk, high-reward investment in another person
To love someone is to make yourself extremely vulnerable to their own outcomes. If what happens to them isn't intertwined with what happens to you on some deeply important level, I don't know how you can call that "love"

I agree, but I suspect that people are completely ignorant of their own deep needs until they are close to thirty, at which point they are suddenly confronted with the results of a series of choices made with unsound criteria.
Love is SCARY and DANGEROUS. It's giving someone deep access to your well being. It gives them incredible power to lift you up OR tear you down.
Marriage is more than being a cofounder, marrying early and taking risk for one another, it’s like being the best of buddies. Of course we have our shitty days, but it’s like this eternal feeling of going back to each other with all our differences.
And yes making each other vulnerable to outcomes, talk to me more about it, so many risks without knowing the outcomes just to be with this guys, hell yeah. Very similar emotion like this startup.
Our song at that point of time” truly deeply madly” we wanted to be each other without giving a shit about job, society family. And we were teenagers , married when 23 so much against societal norms.
