I'm increasingly coming around on the idea of a revenue-neutral carbon tax, but given that it probably would dramatically increase food prices — offset by gov-issued rebates to consumers — I think there are probably some important questions for paycheck-to-paycheck families

Obv this is just a microcosm of a broader landscape of production & product movement. It's a good one, I think(?) because it's critical to human wellbeing & a lot of livelihoods. Plenty of foods aren't produced at any real volume in the continental US
