We *did* actually fail Greta Thunberg We created a situation where a child was so ridden with anxiety about global catastrophe that she stopped eating, and then we praised her for skipping school to vent her anger Her obsession could have made her a scientist, maker, builder https://twitter.com/Education4Libs/status/1180669227931451392 …
I hope that clarifies *something,* at least. I don't think she lacks autonomy or is incoherent, so I'm not sure how you're reading me.

It's pretty patrician: how "we" did things that "failed" her, as if she can't navigate whatever "we" did. The maker community, in case you haven't noticed, is a bust also and useless to 'guide' kids. Let ppl make their own mistakes! Can you share where she is wrong on the sci?

Overall, she is v competent within, IMHO, a very broken policy and change paradigm I know very well (UN policy). Her positions are some of the best available in a world of grand position statements. My own doubt is whether successful input to that world will make any diff.
