i wish they would be broken someplace isolated from the general population. a mental health facility, for example.
On the one hand, it seems plausible that this is some weird internet culture thing filling the void for dull & aggressive people who can't find a decent institution to hand them some prepackaged meaning

On the other hand, maybe in a couple decades we'll discover some yet-unidentified biological factor equivalent to dumping lead flakes in the drinking water, because this seems almost non-mammalian in how antisocial it is

Lack of sunlight (plus lots of artificial light at night) and high omega-6 from plant-heavy diets seems sufficient to explain this and these factors have already been identified. I'm working on a solution.
