Bit of a tangent here, but have we not noticed the total consumerization of activism? Everything has to be about "raising awareness," because "awareness" is an exercise in pure consumption — and everyone is too cowed, insecure or lazy to take on the responsibility of generativity

Is there a tech solution to overload, or we collectively going through a difficult learning curve how to filter out the BS? Leaning towards the latter.
The learning curve is for us collectively to demand software that helps us filter out what we want, not just accept whatever fb/twitter/google decides will make us click more ads
