Here's what I don't get about breaking up Amazon: Anti-trust regulations are supposed to protect the consumer, right? And as bad as Amazon is for competitors, it's been kinda good for consumers (until they take out every competitor & jack up prices, but we haven't seen that yet)

Not to mention the 150,000 businesses that bring in over 100,000 from Amazon's platform (though that is another battle for some. been good for me).

And their medical expenses? Tax avoidance? Externalities vis a vi collaboration with deep state interests? Plenty of serpentine corruption to go off of here. The point is that lower prices is a limited, neoliberal framing of the abuse of the polity by these monoliths.
